My great-grandfather just passed away. He fought in WWII working for the military police. He owned the nicest Cadillac ever, I have so many memories riding in those comfortable seats as he took us to play baseball. He raised us when our mother and grandparents couldn't, told us stories... Even over the phone he'd say, "You're lookin' good!" He was the best. And, now he's gone. I wish I could've said goodbye. I really don't even know what to say. As if these few small things I've listed tell anything about how great he was? I'm just in shock.
