life sometimes comes as lines
right angles and sharp edges
and when we can't focus
we can feel the pain, the hurt
and we can soak it up
vomit it out
and place a mask upon our face
and challenge the world

and then we go on
we conform to the flow
and if we're weak, we can do
nothing more
the lucky can fall
and the unlucky can stay rooted

lines - wow, there's a ton of lines in this picture
and i know i'm breaking the rule of thirds, but wow
taken out of a window while driving, so the quality sucks, but meh- what could i do
conceptual because it just is- for me anyways, try to enjoy?

I like this. :} I love the theme of the lines in the sky, and the power lines on top of that. It's like man's intrusion on nature! Beautiful work as always.

.life is photogenic
Gorgeous shot, man. Love the colors. This shot does in fact have a lot of lines, and you have a great eye for such a thing.

the rule of thirds isn't allways needed. And this kinda proves it. I like it! well done! The colours are great too.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.-- Revelation 4:11
the rule of thirds is far from absolute. its like a bell curve, really. beginners don't understand it, and center things, but they also don't fill the frame, because they don't understand the concept of their limited cameras doing the job. thats why people take disposable cameras to rock concerts and sit near the back, thinking they can get some good shots. the rule of thirds make things better in those situations, though not the concery ones, but when you nearly fill a frame, then it come into play, and if you really fill the frame, it doesnt tend to apply.
